A challenge has been set up in our English class.
Having in mind my blog and the idea “Pictures to proverbs” the class has decided to do a group work cooperating with me and, at the same time, improving our English skills and knowledge.
Firstly, we had to do some research on proverbs related to the unit we have been studying “A world of many languages”.
A proverb was then selected and a picture will be posted so that the students guess the proverb.
Diana has guessed the proverb, but surprisingly she didn't post its full version!
It's a Czech proverb:
Kolik jazyku znás, tolikrát jsi clovekem.
You live a new life for every new language you speak.
If you know only one language, you live only once.
Now,let's keep on with our project. Draw or paint a A3 picture bearing the proverb in mind.
